“How good you do in individual sports all depends on how much you’re willing to work at them. For example, in tennis you will never be good if you don't run or practice, but if you jog around your neighborhood or hit tennis balls against your house you will become good. In individual sports you don't have any team members to depend on... it all depends on how good you are. It is not like in football, where if you miss a tackle your team mates will cover for you. So I suggest if you want to do an individual sport... get working.”
Outstanding advice, Clayton!
