Hi, my name is Nick Coe and I would like to thank you for visiting the Team Sports page of Youth Outdoors USA. I’ll never forget
the first time I strapped on a football helmet and made a tackle. My parents cheered, my coaches congratulated me, and my teammates
picked me up and gave me high fives. I was six years old and I was on top of the world.
Twenty years later the friendships
I made on that team are still strong, and the lessons I learned about responsibility, teamwork, and commitment continue to be
true today. These are values that can’t be learned sitting at home behind a video game console, or computer screen. It
is critical that we introduce our youth to sports and the outdoors in general, so they too can learn those lessons that will define
the type of person they are for the rest of their life.
